As preparation for BUSN 1102, please initial each item below to indicate that you fully understand the course requirements, the instructor’s expectations and the consequences of absences and late work.

I understand that this is a college course. When I am in 1102, I understand that I am expected to behave as a college student and that I will be treated as such by the instructor. *

I understand that my grade will become part of my college transcript and will consequently impact my college GPA for the duration of my undergraduate program. *

I understand that late work accepted due to accommodations will receive partial credit and that any deductions for errors will be taken from the partial credit point total. *

I understand that cheating will not be tolerated. *

I understand that my attendance is necessary for my success in this class. *

I understand that if I am absent for school functions or illness, it is my responsibility to get any assignment handed out in my absence. *

I understand that if I am in school for even part of the day when an assignment is due, I must turn in that assignment before leaving the building--regardless of why I am leaving. *

I will not use a personal electronic device in any way in class unless the activity is directly related to a class project or discussion and I receive the instructor’s permission to use it. *

If I ever have a question, concern or complaint about any of these policies, I agree to discuss the matter with the instructor before I do so with anyone else and at a time other than the beginning of a class period. *
