Journal of Global Higher Education
The Journal of Global Higher Education is an open-access, independent, community-run, peer-reviewed scholarly journal focused on global higher education and the opportunities, issues, and challenges that international and global engagement presents. This journal is a key publication outlet for the Research with International Students Network (RIS), and the Critical Internationalization Studies Network (CISN). We are a scholarly collective which purposely disrupts traditional, hierarchical models of journal publication and management, and are open to experimentation.

Launched in August 2025, we are a very new journal and are looking for colleagues to join our reviewing team who are committed to co-developing a successful new publishing space.

Call for Reviewers
We seek reviewers to join our extended editorial board. We welcome expressions of interest from scholars in all academic disciplines and from all geographic locations.

At this time, we are particularly looking for colleagues who can review across methodologies in the topic areas of equity, decolonization/coloniality, policy and student experience.
