The Women's Coaching Alliance is on a mission to develop female leaders through coaching youth sports. We pair our young coaches with an adult mentor to help them learn how coaching experiences translate into leadership. We're currently recruiting mentors for future seasons.

WCA Mentors rely on their leadership experience to highlight the transferable leadership skills coaches are learning, such as problem-solving, listening, navigating conflict, and leading groups with different skill levels.

Who you are:

  • Passionate about providing young women the tools and experience to be future leaders
  • A believer in the value that a mentor provides
  • Aware of the value of seeing coaches in action because you know real examples work best with new coaches
  • Even tempered and patient
  • Understand the importance of prioritizing a positive experience for recreational youth athletes over winning at all costs
