National Conference Presenter Abstract Submission
Thank you for consideration to present at the 2019 National Association of Graduate-Professional Student Conference to be held November 7-10, 2019 at the University of Kentucky. As NAGPS is focused on providing a platform for graduate student issues, and facilitating the sharing of best-practices and ideas for graduate student leaders.

The theme for this year's conference is “Building a Diverse, Inclusive, and Engaged Community.” These presentations can feature best-practices, programming related to graduate student health and well-being, networking, professional development, initiatives, innovative partnerships with your administration or community, or advocacy related to discrimination, food insecurity, graduate stipends, mental health, insurance, or issues related to race, gender, sexual orientation, gender expression, or socio-economic status. Anything related to improving the condition of graduate and professional students is welcome. Sessions will be an hour in length including questions.

There are two primary formats this year: regular session, and round table session. Abstracts will be taken on a rolling basis. Please try to submit your abstract by Friday September 27th at 5:00pm PST as they will be approved on a first come, first served basis.

GRADUATE LIVES AND ADVOCACY SESSION:

These are the primary, concurrent, sessions of the conference and provide a platform for NAGPS members to learn from, and help, each other by presenting on some of the effective and innovative programs/services they offer, or to present on a problem their government is facing. The sessions are an hour in length, inclusive of questions, and can range on any topic involving graduate student government, including but not limited to:

Leadership
Promoting/Building Diversity and Inclusion
Increasing Student Engagement
Government/Administration Relations (on- and off-campus advocacy_
New and Innovative Programs
Professional Development
Social Programming
Quality of Life
Dealing with/Overcoming Challenges and Adversity
