This form is to be completed by individuals or companies who want to apply for exemption from the 7% Sisters GRO administrative fee. The fee was implemented in 2020 to sustain the mission of the organization and ensure our ability to support future generations of students at Sisters High School. Understand that the 7% fee on scholarships only covers a portion of the overall operating budget for Sisters GRO and makes the following possible:
- administration of the online scholarship application and review system,
- individual support for students and scholarship committee members,
- management and acknowledgement of tax-deductible scholarship donations,
- verification process for student acceptance and check disbursement,
- administration of the Spread Process to increase equity of funds to students,
- development efforts to increase community engagement in student scholarships,
- coordination of committees to review Sisters GRO designated scholarships, and
- facilitation and resources for the annual Senior Celebration event.
Failure to pay the fee without getting an exemption will result in the scholarship amount awarded to the student being reduced by 7% (example: on a $1,000 scholarship the student will then receive $930).
