The TAA utilizes a Discord Server to organize union activities. Please use this link:
to join the Discord Server! If you don't wish to be involved on the organizing side, you can indicate that you'd prefer to follow along through our monthly email newsletters.
I've added myself to the Discord Server and opted into committees by toggling in through the #roles channel.
I'd prefer someone follow up with more details about getting more involved!
I'd prefer to only follow along by email.
Join a Committee within the Union!
Within the union, there are many interest groups and committees. You can join a committee at any time and your commitment to the group is flexible. If you are ready to sign-up to join a specific working group you can do so below, otherwise you can always get more involved later on! The primary way to join a committee or just follow along with the work occurring in it is to opt into the appropriate role in the #roles channel on the Discord server.
Below is an image of the message within the #roles server to opt into committees within the union! You'll find this by navigating on the left side to the #roles channel.
Volunteer for a committee by selecting what interests you below:
You can opt into these committees directly once you have joined the Discord server in the #roles channel as described above. If you also select here, we will pass along your email to the people in charge of your selected committees too.
