W31-110/SPXCE Tap Access Request Form
Please fill out this form to request access to SPXCE/W31-110.
Please note -
ONLY CURRENT MIT UNDERGRADUATE AND MIT GRADUATE STUDENTS CAN HAVE TAP ACCESS TO SPXCE.
By requesting access to SPXCE you are also agreeing to the SPXCE Use Guidelines outlined below:
Dispose of all trash in the receptacles provided in the space. If you have big items/boxes, please break them down as best you can and either put them in the trash/recycling bins, or neatly next to them if they don’t fit.
Absolutely NO open food unless actively out for an event. All stored food must be in the fridge, cabinets, or stored in containers. We have done the best we can to keep rodents and bugs out of the space, so please help us continue to do so.
If you store something in the fridge, please put your name/organization on it and the date it was put in the fridge. Anything left in the fridge for more than 3 business days will be thrown away. If you need arrangements for an event (either before to store, or after if there’s extra), please email me and let me know. The food was left a disaster at the end of last semester.
If you eat or use a table, please wipe the table down after use. Lysol wipes are available, but minimally a wet paper towel will do if you can’t find the wipes or we run out!
Additionally, there is a vacuum and a broom in the storage area in the restroom. Facilities only takes out the trash and does a light sweep of the SPXCE. Everything else is our responsibility – together!
Aside from resources, nothing else should be removed from SPXCE! If you need to borrow something, please let me know!
Please put furniture back in its original location! This means pushing chairs in, or adjusting any furniture you may have moved for an event or otherwise.
ALL events MUST be registered 7 days in advance prior to the event date. Please use this form to request the use of SPXCE. Your request is only official once approved and you receive a confirmation via a calendar invite.
If an event is scheduled in the SPXCE, please be respectful (noise levels, moving furniture that’s been promised for said event, etc.).
Absolutely no overnight sleeping in SPXCE, and no sleeping in common areas in W31-110 altogether.
