The Chicago City of Learning (CCOL) joins together city departments, school districts, community-based organizations, non-profits, and cultural institutions. The Chicago City of Learning has three goals: 1) to make informal learning opportunities visible to youth and the adults that care about them, 2) connect learning opportunities across spaces and places, and 3) recognizing youth achievements through the use of digital badges.
