Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Fresno Historical Society. We rely on the support of volunteers from the local community to put on our programs and events, to assist in archival processing projects, and to guide group tours at Kearney Mansion Museum. Shifts vary depending on the type of project. Event volunteers work 4-6 hours during Thursday evening or weekend events, usually once or twice a month. Archives volunteers must work a minimum of 4 hours/week under the supervision of the Society Archivist between 9am and 5pm, Tuesday thru Friday. Kearney Mansion docents are asked as needed to guide group tours on weekday mornings. Stair climbing required for most positions.
