We need people like you who currently have careers in Statistics and/or Data Science to come along and be informally quizzed about what they do.

Our main target audience will be Secondary School pupils aged 16 to 18 who may be thinking of, or are currently studying courses involving Statistics. Undergraduate students would be welcome too.

The planned format is that small groups of attendees will each have up to 10 minutes to ask you questions in a bid to find out what field it is that you work in, or what you do with data. Any remaining time will be available for you to tell the groups a little about what you do in a typical day, and to answer any follow-up questions.

The groups then rotate around the room, to quiz the next Mystery Guest.

So we need a wide and diverse pool of people who can be the stars of the event and engage with the audience on an individual and small group level. Just think how valuable you would have found this event for yourself, when you were younger!
