Creative Nomads x Afro Charities: Community Paint Mural Unveiling

Join Creative Nomads and Afro Charities as we unveil an inspiring art piece crafted and designed by the community members and neighbors of the Upton Mansion that will be renovated into the new AFRO, Afro Charities, and archives home. This collaborative project aims to bring vibrancy, added beauty and artistic placemaking in a construction area, on the fencing, as the new space is built. 

We invite you to celebrate the richness of the history of The AFRO, Afro Charities, the Afro Archives, West Baltimore, and Black media made real through design.

Please RSVP as we will have food and drinks and want to make sure everyone can indulge. 

We will also have a bouncy house and other activities!

More specifically, I hereby hold Creative Nomads, or any individual acting in an official or advisory capacity for Creative Nomads, harmless and release Creative Nomads and its agents from any liability and claims arising out of an accident, illness, or stressful incident, except where caused by the gross negligence or wanton misconduct of any of the released parties. I intend this waiver and release to also apply to any relative, heirs, next of kin, personal representatives, or assigns that might pursue legal action on my behalf or on behalf of the student.
