If you have an idea for a talk/lecture, master class, tutorial, panel or video game post-mortem, we'd love to hear from you!

We're inviting speakers for this year's event taking place in London on 7 - 8 November 2026Past speakers have come from a range of disciplines across the world of narrative/adventure games: from writers, developers and artists to translators, (voice) actors, researchers and others involved in the games industry.

We are always looking for talks and panels to inspire, educate and engage our community.

Read the eligibility criteria and rules below and submit before 11:59 PM on Wednesday 21 May 2026 GMT+1.


Eligibility criteria and rules:
  • VERY IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU CONTINUE!
    Speakers must commit to attending AdventureX in person to deliver their talk in London on 7 or 8 November 2026, at the very least for the duration of the time slot you are scheduled at, if selected.

  • Selected speakers will need to provide any presentation slides or additional digital materials to AdventureX organisers, preferably at least 1-2 week prior to the event if possible. Please let us know in advance if you have any specific needs related to your presentation.

  • Talks need to be roughly 30 minutes long. We generally try to include a +/- 3 minute long Q&A moment at the end of the talk.

  • Panels need to be about 1 hour long. Please include details of all panellists.

We aim to contact applicants no later than Monday 15 June 2026. Successful applicants will need to respond with confirmation of attendance before your submission is officially selected for inclusion as an exhibitor.

If we do not receive your confirmation by Monday 29 June 2026, we will be forced to reach out to runner-ups and cannot guarantee that your submission can be included in the event.

AdventureX welcomes presentations that deal with serious, grown-up themes. Please let us know if your talk deals with sensitive content we should be aware of. (e.g. discrimination, violence, etc.)

Terms and conditions *
If your idea is accepted, you give AdventureX and our partners permission to use images, logos, text and other materials related to your submission for promotional purposes.

You also affirm that you are the rights holder of the submitted material, or that you have permission from the rights holder(s). We endeavour to keep all submitted content/info confidential. Because we write and publish info about our selected submissions in advance of the event, we are not able to sign NDA agreements.

We do everything we can to run a safe, welcoming event. However, AdventureX's organisers accept no responsibility for injury or loss or damage to property during the event. All attendees will be expected to follow the AdventureX Code of Conduct.
