Aus & NZ volunteer scientists to assist with COVID-19 research
This is a database to collect details of scientists willing to volunteer to assist with Australian and New Zealand COVID-19 research (or global where this includes Au and NZ).
SCIENTISTS OF ANY TYPE who have relevant skills are encouraged to add their details, including epidemiologists, statisticians, infectious disease researchers, clinical trial project managers, clinical researchers, psychology researchers and any other scientists who can help with data analysis, literature reviews, manuscripts, reporting or grants.
The database has been established by three Australian researchers, Dr Nicola Watts (Neuroscientist- scientific consultant and ex-UNSW/UQ), Dr Nathan Holmes (Behavioural Neuroscientist- UNSW)and Dr Laurence Luu (Microbiologist- UNSW).
The database will be shared with non-profit organisations on request where judged appropriate (for COVID-19 research only). We anticipate it is most likely to be used by Australian and New Zealand university or institute-based researchers and hospital/health care-based researchers. Researchers will contact you directly if they need assistance, or we may send a request for assistance by mailing list on occasion. We don't know how much demand there will be for volunteers, but this database will ensure help is available if needed.
