Youth Democracy Cohort - Knowledge Sharing Progamme - Young leaders shaping the present - 20 February 2024

Nothing about us without us! This principle is more relevant than ever as more than 50% of people on the planet are young people. However, still very few of them have a seat at the decision-makers’ table.

The Youth Democracy Cohort has the pleasure to shed light on the inspiring history of young people engaged in politics in their country and on the initiatives led by CSOs to give opportunities to young people to engage in politics.

On February 20, through the Knowledge Sharing session “Young leaders shaping the present”, the Youth Democracy Cohort will present the stirring history of Augusta Nnadi, Special Assistant to the Anambra State Governor on Investments in Nigeria at the age of 24, and of her partners of the Young Decision Makers Network of Club de Madrid. Accountability Lab Nepal will then present their fellowship programme as an efficient way to give opportunities and tools for young people to participate in their country's politics.
