The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education requires school districts to annually evaluate all aspects of its K-12 program to ensure that all students, regardless or race, color, sex, gender identity, religion, national origin, limited English proficiency, sexual orientation, disability, or housing status, have equal access to all programs, including athletics and other extracurricular activities.
This survey (distributed to all students and parents) will be used to collect data for a self-evaluative analysis of the Gateway Regional School District's educational program, to ensure compliance with Civil Rights regulations and requirements. As a result of this evaluation, the district will implement changes that are indicated by the process.
