Context: Hi there! My name is Kayleigh and I am a Girl Scout Ambassador and this is my Gold Award project the highest award you can earn as a Girl Scout. When I was picking what I wanted to do for my Gold Award I realized that I was struggling with Seasonal Affective Disorder and finding motivation to come up with a project. And then it dawned on me, that that was what my project should be about, mental health, and for me specifically SAD. I have built a coalition of organizations and have gotten workshops on a wide variety of aspects of mental health, and the best bit is it is free to all High Schoolers in the area as long as you RSVP.
