The Nestlings Call for Applications Form
Africa is rich with human and natural resources but still grapples with multi-dimensional poverty, due to the incapacity of economic, social and political systems to supply adequate opportunity to meet the demand for it.

This decade is a defining decade for Africa, as a window of opportunity has been opened up through the combination of the 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR), the impact of the Corona Virus Pandemic and the impact on the global supply value chain by the Russian Ukraine war. It seems like the world was reset and Africa's chance at unlocking her prosperous destiny would come from her smooth transition to a vibrant digital economy. This transition would be led by founders across undergraduate communities.

At the Nestling Playbook project, we believe that the undergraduate community is the next frontier for creating prosperity in Africa. We are exploring a hypothesis around that; thinking that if we can incentivize and support undergraduates to explore digital entrepreneurship to solve for non-consumption (as discussed in the book "Prosperity Paradox; authored by Clayton Christensen, Karen Dillon and Efosa Ojomo), we can increase the supply of entrepreneurial talent to meet the demand for a new generation of founders committed to unlocking prosperity in Africa through the digital economy. Our mission therefore is to increase the inclusion and participation of the undergraduate community in the innovation ecosystem of Africa's digital economy this decade and you can be one of those talents.

This program is in 3 phases; All applicants would be participating in a bootcamp, after which you'd be required to put all that, you've learnt into practice in an Ideathon, after which we would engage in a challenge to get the best 4 ideas from 15 schools that would be given funding of $5,000 - $15,000 equity investment and other forms of support as listed in our medium and LinkedIn articles.

This call for application, seeks to attract the smartest and ambitious entrepreneurial talents across Universities in Nigeria, provide them capital, mentorship and all forms of support to ensure that their only headache is building global solutions to local problem. If that's you, then please apply to participate in this challenge and share with other talents who you know fit the profile of who we need in Africa.

All the best with your application. Every applicant would be given a chance to participate, so attend to this form in the most sincere and precise manner. I look forward to meeting you soon.
