    Inlakesh 2016 Volunteering INFORMATION

    All volunteers must be available to check in Thursday, June 23, 2016, between 1pm - 7pm or Friday, June 24, 2016, between 8am - 11 am. You MUST attend 1 Orientation meeting. Orientation meetings will be held either Thursday at 8pm or Friday at noon. We prefer volunteers who will work all 3 days of the festival. To earn a 3 day festival camping pass, you will be scheduled and must work 4 x 4 hour shifts. In exchange, you will receive access to the whole festival (except during your shifts), camping, and parking, plus dinner on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, and a light breakfast on Saturday and Sunday. Spa/Pool/Shower passes are not included, and may be purchased separately for $10/day or $25 for 3 days. You can also work 3 x 4 hour shifts and receive the same benefits, except without camping. If you are local and have previously volunteered at one of our festivals for less than 3 days, please let us know, and we will try to accommodate you. We will do our best to have dairy-free/gluten-free options for volunteer meals. If you have other food allergies or restrictions, please bring your own food or be prepared to buy your own food, as we are not able to guarantee that we will be able to provide any other allergy-free options. Inlakesh is a community event, with most of the work being done on a volunteer basis. If you would like to help in any way, please let us know. You are invited to join one of our co-creation teams. We will also need quite a few volunteers for pre-festival set up and post-festival tear down. Thank you for your interest in Inlakesh and for your support of community events. Volunteering is a time-honored way of performing service. Please fill out the following form. Please note that items below with a red asterisk after their name * need to be filled out or you won’t be able to submit your application. In addition to those, please fill out as much of the form as you can. The more info you give us, the better able we will be to find an appropriate and satisfying position for you. When you are finished filling out the form, please click the “Submit” button at the bottom of the page. We will get back to you soon. We are very grateful that you are here to share your energy with our Community. Please note that this work-trade does not include use of pools, spa, or showers. Pool passes may be purchased at the event for $10/day or $25 for 3 days. We now require a deposit for volunteer positions. The deposit is $100 for 3 or 4 shifts, or $50 for 1 or 2 shifts. Deposits must be paid by June 9, 2016. If this is a hardship please email Lindsay Love (Volunteer Coordinator) at emetevents1@gmail.com. She will work hard to make a modification so that the event is still accessible to you. Deposits, however, do need to be made. Deposits will be refunded to all volunteers who fulfill their volunteer commitments. Volunteers who do not fulfill their requirements will not receive a refund. These refunds will be made by July 8th, directly to the credit card, debit card, or PayPal account that was used to make the deposit. Cash refunds will not be available at the event. Please note that cancellations (if absolutely necessary) will be accepted through June 17th. If you cancel by then, you will receive your deposit back soon after the event, minus a small service fee which we are charged. Cancellations made after June 17th (1 week prior to the event) are extremely inconvenient for us. There will be no refunds on deposits for cancellations made after June 17th. Please make your deposit with a credit card, debit card, or PayPal, using one of the “Pay Now” buttons at the bottom of this page. Volunteer positions are filling up, so if you want to be a volunteer—don’t delay—get your application and deposit in now! Important: If your contact info changes, PLEASE UPDATE US ASAP and be responsive to our emails and phone calls so we can get you scheduled. Thanks!
