All participants must attend the safety briefing 30 minutes prior to the start of the event at the start line.
All roads are open. Runners must cross vehicle entranceways with care and cyclists must cross roads safely and in accordance with road rules. Everyone must respect other road and footpath users.
Ensure that you comply with the instructions from Police, Fire Service or other Event Officials.
Everyone must be responsible for their own safety. Runners and cyclists need to be aware of the risks of participating on a public road and swimmers of the risks of participating in an ocean swim.
Swimmers in particular need to be confident that they can complete an 800m ocean swim.
Race numbers must be visible at all times so that we can identify you.
Prepare for the event - you should not enter unless you reasonably believe you are fit enough to complete this event safely.
Only those aged 16 and over can enter.
The event may be delayed or cancelled in the case of dangerous weather conditions. Announcements of cancellations will be made on the DSW webpage
www.dsw.org.nz and the DSW and Frontrunners Facebook pages.
Any participant whose conduct is inappropriate or unsafe may be disqualified and asked to leave the event.
