Please read the following terms carefully, and agree, before moving forward:
When borrowing a lending library carrier, you agree to the following-- You will fill out the lending library form in full with accurate information and submit the form before borrowing the carrier. You also guarantee that you have filled out a Mainely Babywearing waiver for the year of 2026, or will do so before borrowing any lending library carriers. You agree that Mainely Babywearing and Mary Bryce are not responsible for your safety or the safety of your child(ren) while using the carrier and will discontinue use if you feel you are unable to do so safely. You will treat the carrier carefully and attempt to keep it from harm and from getting dirty. You will also keep the carrier away from smoke or vapor of any kind. You will not wash lending library carriers without receiving permission first (many carriers have special washing instructions). Lending library carriers are to be used for two to four weeks, with an agreed upon return date before borrowing. Rentals are free, but to help maintain the library, there is a suggested donation of $15 for two weeks, made payable to Mainely Babywearing/Mary Bryce by cash, PayPal, Venmo, or Apple Cash. Rentals are to be returned at a public meetup, during a consultation, or to my (Mary Bryce's) home. If it is not possible to return the carrier in one of these locations, you will email me to set up pick up arrangements that work for both of us. You will be sure to receive a fit check at a meetup, consultation, or class before taking home the carrier to ensure you understand safe use of the carrier. You are also free to reach out via email or our Facebook group to ask for more fit checks, guidance, or support with a carrier for the duration of borrowing the carrier! Finally, you understand and agree that if a carrier is damaged during your care, or is not returned, you are responsible for paying the current retail value of the carrier, or if the specific carrier is no longer in production, a carrier of similar quality and value.
