Desk Bee Exchange Program Application
Calling all social-impact loving, collaborative-minded, and organization mavens! Do you have some extra time on your hands? Are you interested in a barter exchange that will give you the opportunity to join Vancouver’s growing social impact community?

We are looking for freelancers, entrepreneurs, and/or creative individuals who want to exchange some of their time for membership to our social change community; made up of over 200 individuals and organizations from diverse sectors who are all working to make the world a better place. Our mission is to support and amplify the social innovation ecosystem in Vancouver - we’re making this happen by using the powerful tool of shared-space to co-work, host events, deliver programming, and build community.

You must be able to commit to one weekly half-day shift for a minimum of three months. Duties include answering emails and in person inquiries, giving tours of the space, assisting with Taco Tuesday and other events, and some tidying and light cleaning.

Please note that we do get a lot of applications and not everyone will be able to participate in the program. We will keep you on the wait list for a maximum of 3 months and contact you if a position becomes available with shifts that you have indicated you are able to take. If you are still interested in 3 months but have not heard from us, please re-apply.
