Call for workshop proposals - Biennial Restorative Communities Convening 2018

The Partnership for Los Angeles Schools invites you to apply to present at the 2018 Restorative Communities Convening, entitled Common Ground: Achieving Equity through Academic, Social-Emotional and Cultural Competence.

To achieve educational equity in Los Angeles, all of our schools must equitably teach, model, and support academic, social-emotional and cultural competence with all of our students as well as the adults who surround them. Please join us on Saturday, October 20, 2018, for the Partnership’s third Restorative Communities Biennial Convening to share stories, expand ideas, and experience concrete strategies to strengthen social-emotional learning, culturally responsive teaching, constructivist learning, and restorative practices in schools and communities. Through interactive plenary sessions, differentiated workshops, and relationship-building, all stakeholders are invited to participate as learners, teachers and leaders in the movement to create and sustain more equitable schools and restorative communities.

*Breakfast, lunch, childcare, transportation, and Spanish translation will be provided.
*This event is FREE and open to the public.
