Berlin Queers supporting Szczecin Pride
On September 14, 2019, queer activists in Szczecin, Poland, organize a Pride Festival and Equality March for the second time, to take a stance against the increasingly hostile environment and politics in their country. Considering the opposition by the state, the catholic chuch and extreme right-wing movements, this requires a lot of courage, so we need to support them and show solidarity!

Here in Berlin, a group of supporters, among them Voices4 Berlin, has come together to mobilize as many people as possible to go to Szczecin.

For every five people, we can travel with a Berlin-Brandenburg-ticket that reduces the cost of the roundtrip to 5,80€ per person. It's a two hour ride one way. We organize meeting points, are in touch with the organizers, keep you informed, look out for each others safety and take care of other necessary arrangements.

Please indicate which connection you prefer, so we can coordinate the tickets and inform the organizers how many people will arrive at what time. They need the information to ensure our safety and be prepared. Police is present and will ensure the security of participants like last year.

Meeting points for the early connection are:
Südkreuz - 8:50am, platform 6,
Hauptbahnhof - 9:00am, platform 5,
Gesundbrunnen - 9:15am, platform 9.
For the later connection:
Hauptbahnhof - 12:00pm, platform 8.

The program starts at 11:00 with a picnic together with Polish LGBTI+ initiatives.
The march starts at 14:00, followed by concerts from 17:00 to 21:00. The after party starts at 22:30.
