PAOC 14 Symposium Proposal

The scientific committee of the Pan African Ornithological Congress invites proposals for symposia at the 14th congress, to be held in Dakar, Senegal 17-21st October, 2016.

Symposia should provide the organisational structure for the PAOC and highlight topical and important themes within the overarching theme of African Ornithology. They should provide fora for a wide representation of ornithologists to discuss and synthesize the latest developments.

Symposia could be half a day or full day programmes and should include one keynote speaker (allocated a 30 minute slot) per half day session, with remaining speakers allocated 15 minute slots. The structure of symposia is flexible, and can include time for panel discussions if suited to the topic, at the discretion of the symposium organisers.
