Thank you so much for volunteering for the National Philanthropy Day Awards
Luncheon! Volunteers gather to prepare for our event on Thursday, November 14,
2024 (event day) and/or on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 (two days prior to event
day). Please read the task overview below then complete the Volunteer
information form which starts at the bottom of this page.

TWO DAYS PRIOR TO EVENT - Tuesday, November 12, 2024
Location: Orange County Business Journal, 18500 Von Karman Ave., Ste. 150,
Irvine, CA 92612
Volunteer Shifts: 1:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. (approx. 2-4 hours based on
availability)
Responsibilities: Enjoy snacks and network with fellow AFP members while
perforating name cards, alphabetizing, and stuffing name badges, and adhering
ribbons. The more volunteers the lighter (and more fun) the task! We are asking
for 10 volunteers to arrive at 1:00 pm to help us prep for the NPD event.

EVENT DAY - Thursday, November 14, 2024
Location: City National Grove of Anaheim, 2200 E. Katella Ave., Anaheim, CA
92806
Volunteer Shifts: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. (2-5 hours based on
responsibilities/availability)
Responsibilities: Registration, greeting, directing guests, escorting
outstanding honorees to/from stage, shadowing photographer, giving out gifts,
stuffing/placing programs, etc.

After gathering all this information, we will send everyone their tentative
volunteer assignments by Monday, November 4, 2024.
