Green light
On 10 December, International Human Rights Day, Europe turns green! Do you want to join? 💚

On the Polish border, locals put a green light in their windows to signal that refugees and migrants can ask for help. Some no longer dare to do so, in fear of the authorities, who rather leave the people to die. People on the move are trying to survive hunger, cold, violence and pushbacks on European borders.

Human lives and human rights need to be protected! Can people in need knock your doors too? Do you think they should be welcomed in Europe? Put a green light in your window on December 10th! Or go big: put a government building, church, or other important building in a green light in your city or village 💪💚

GREEN LIGHT is an action of VAJN, the Dutch association of asylum lawyers, that MIGREAT supports wholeheartedly. Register here, so we can send you a toolkit on how to put buildings in a green light and how to get media attention with your action!
