The CHANCE network is organizing an
event in Rome on May 3rd to follow up on the work we started in December 2023 at the European Parliament, with the presentation of our Manifesto "A Chance for Europe".
The one-day meeting will bring together civil society organizations from Europe and will consist of three main segments:
1. Presentation of the Manifesto "A CHANCE for Europe".
2. Review and consolidation of the Manifesto with the participation of invited civil society organizations.
3. Presentation of the analysis of electoral programs ahead of the EP elections as part of our EU-funded initiative "Youth in Connection".
To proceed with the review of our Manifesto, invited European civil society organizations will divide into 4 working groups on:
Social reuse of confiscated assets
Fight against corruption and civic monitoring
Protection, justice, and reparations for victims of organized crime and human trafficking and their families.
Protection of the environment and public health from ecomafias.
Duration: From 9am to 5pm. We can provide financial support for attending associations up to €350.
