Beethoven 9 Performance Application 
The Lake Forest Civic Orchestra will perform Beethoven’s 9th Symphony on January 19, 2025, at the James Lumber Performing Arts Center in Grayslake, Illinois. This once-in-a-lifetime performance will feature the Lake Forest Civic Orchestra, voices from Chicago Master Singers and Lux Cantorum Chicago, and accomplished singers from our communities. John Hughes will serve as Chorus Master and Maestro Christopher Ramaekers will conduct the performance.

There are 4 rehearsals in addition to the performance. Attendance at all 5 services (rehearsals and performance) is mandatory. The dates are:
  • Chorus rehearsal January 6, 2025 - 6:00pm -7:15pm; Countryside Church in Palatine, IL
  • Chorus rehearsal January 13, 2025 -  6:00pm-7:15pm; Countryside Church in Palatine, IL
  • Dress rehearsal January 16, 2025 - 7:00pm - 8:30pm; James Lumber Performing Arts Center, Grayslake, IL
  • Dress rehearsal January 17, 2025 - 7:00pm - 8:30pm; James Lumber Performing Arts Center, Grayslake, IL
  • Performance January 19, 2025 - 4:00pm - 6:00pm; James Lumber Performing Arts Center, Grayslake, IL
