This individual will be a primary liaison to our membership and customer base. The membership coordinator is in charge of membership sales and retention, following up with new members, customer service, working with our management team on marketing the program and member events, and all initiatives focused on membership retention, engagement, and fulfillment. They may also be asked to work an occasion floor shift to better understand the business. The position has the possibility to grow into advertising and sponsorship sales as well.
Job Type: Part-Time, Hourly (20-30 hours)Work Hours: Flexible with individual’s schedule. Mostly weekdays with occasional weeknight or weekend.Starting Pay: $13. Raise to $13.25 after first 90 days.Benefits offered: Two weeks PTO which begins accruing after 90 days. And of course, unlimited free movies, popcorn, soda, plus a shift drink every shift.
At least 3 years of customer service experience.Movie enthusiast and/or background in movie theaters or other arts related organization preferred.Availability for weekend and occasional night shifts during special events.High school diploma or equivalent work experience.Functional computer skills required - Google Suites.Sales experience is great, but if you have the desire to learn, we will teach you and give you the tools to succeed.Public speaking skills.Very organized.Strong communication skills.Previous membership program experience is a plus!
Membership Coordinator Responsibilities:
Conduct telephone & email inquiries/follow up calls & emails.Assist members with customer service solutions.Follow up with leads.Follow up and follow through activities with all prospective clients.Attend weekly activities/events engaging with prospective members.On-board our founding members and maintain that relationship.Manage/update monthly membership newsletter.Data entry.Membership fulfillment.
