Makahiki Stargazing Registration Form 2021
Mahalo nui loa for registering for ʻOhana Kilo Hōkū's (OKH) Makahiki Stargazing event, hosted in partnership with the University of Hawaii's Institute for Astronomy and NOIRLab. There is no charge to attend, but donations help keep these events going!:

WHERE and WHEN:
The festival will be happening at the South-West / makai-ewa corner of Magic Island in Ala Moana Beach Park from 3pm to 9pm on Saturday December 4, 2021. That is the far right corner of Magic Island as you enter the Island from the parking lot. There will be traditional Hawaiian Makahiki games, solar observations, and stargazing!
REGISTRATION and COVID PROTOCOLS:
Please fill out the registration form below if you wish to participate in the games and stargazing we have set up. We require this information in order to comply with our mitigation plan for the COVID-19 pandemic. We require your email address so that we may email you a satisfaction survey after the event.
By filling out this form you agree to maintain 6 feet social distancing from anyone not in your family group at all times. You agree to disinfect all game equipment and telescopes after use, or to cooperate with event staff in such cleaning. You agree to comply with all directions from event staff.
Anyone displaying symptoms of COVID-19 will be asked to leave the event area. All participants must be wearing facemasks at all times. Anyone not wearing a facemask will not be allowed to participate in any games or use any telescopes. Anyone who refuses to wear a facemask or abide by event staff directions will be required to leave the event area.
