We Share Bread & Salt – بيننا عيش و ملح workshop registration
Food can be looked at as a binding agent that can link thoughts and carve out spaces for discussions that can be difficult to engage in otherwise. In light of global turmoil, uncertainty and scepticism, this workshop will attempt to address how we place our bodies in the space we occupy through the lens of food. By dissecting gestures of hospitality, ways of serving and consumption, we will be employing food as a stand-in for language.

Participants in the workshop are asked to bring an ingredient with them that is of political or personal value for them. Through the workshop, we will begin to break down what these ingredients mean and work on combining them into a recipe.

𝘞𝘦 𝘚𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘉𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥 & 𝘚𝘢𝘭𝘵 is a workshop organised and led by artist Moza Almatrooshi
The workshop will take place over two days (Saturday 8 - Sunday 9 December)
