Do you know an important Changemaker in the Bay Area disability community?
The San Francisco Public Library is inviting nominations for our CHANGEMAKERS exhibition which will tour the library system throughout 2019 and 2020. The displays will feature 30 portraits of individuals (currently living and in the Bay Area who live with a disability/disabilities) who you feel have made a difference. Nominations are open and can come from any field, including Science and Technology, Business, Sports, Activism, Literature and the Arts. The deadline is Midnight October 26, 2018. A diverse panel of disability leaders will select the final featured line-up beginning in November. Local artists with disabilities will create portraits of the finalists in a variety of media. Who do you know that should be on the list? Fill out this short form and write a short paragraph about why they should be included. We will send updates to your email address your provide. Written nominations can be sent to Access Services, SFPL, 100 Larkin Street, San Francisco 94102.
