Beloved Union Family,
In a time of earth-shifting changes, God has called us to get deeply rooted and grounded in love! And so 2025 has been the Year of Belonging for the Union Combined Parish.
Because of the congregation's faithful participation and giving, Union has grown in amazing ways this year. Here are just a few highlights:
- Spiritual Growth: Sermon series and worship that rooted us more deeply in God and with one another. Over 10 Connection groups, congregational care, and discernment.
- Financial Growth: Set and on track to meet our giving goal of $600,000 for 2025. Four major grant applications submitted this year totaling $881,590.
- Missional Growth: First Sunday Meals. New programming partner with the Age Strong Commission.
Video Legacy Project Continues. Increased Building Usage across our sites. Expanded Leadership to Roslindale and West Roxbury
- Numerical Growth: 1 Baptism, 2 Re-affirmations of baptism and re-naming celebrations, and 11 New Members (and counting!)
To God be the glory!
And Union's mission, ministries and message of God's unconditional love and Christ's gospel of liberation are more urgent than ever.
So we are inviting you to commit financially to empower and sustain Union's extraordinary growth in 2026.
Our Pledge Goal for 2026 is 100 pledges, eventually toward 100% participation of our members.
You can participate by making your intention to give in 2026 known to the Finance Team.
Please kindly complete this Pledge Card by Sunday, December 15th. We invite all members (formal and otherwise) at Union to commit to give regularly (monthly or weekly). We are aiming for 100% participation from all members of the Union family!
