One of the largest and most difficult parts of choosing who works for us is the absolute necessity of perceived online impartiality. Your public social media will be scrutinized, closely.
Our magazine has worked hard over the years to cultivate an impartial reputation. We take pride in our unbiased editorial reviews, articles, interviews and serial stories... ALL of which needs promotion across social media platforms.
This means that WE must publicly be above reproach on ALL topics, especially divisive ones. And being in charge of US and WE means you have to have the ability to write impartially. And, you are speaking for the entire group.
If it's found that your social media leans heavily in any direction, on any topic, anywhere in the vicinity of divisive, your interest will be appreciated, but we will not move forward. This can and will have a perceived taint to the magazine.
We believe in choice and agency, and your freedom to speak and do as you wish...
