Farming While Black Community Screening
U. City Schools’ Education for Sustainability & Agriculture invite you to a special screening of Farming While Black. This is a feature film about the rising generation of young Black farmers, based on the book by Leah Penniman.

Following the screening, there will be a panel discussion featuring the film’s director, Mark Decena, where attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions. This is a unique chance to explore the challenges and successes of Black farmers and sustainable agriculture.

Refreshments will be served, featuring produce from our gardens and student-made products from Brittany Brand.
