High Country Academy is hosting a hands-on, innovative science lab that explores STEM topics.  STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math.  The lab promises inquiry-based science learning while having lots of FUN!  

Solids and liquids and gases - OH MY! This Science Lab for Kids will focus on the three states of matter. Students will experiment with tools like Legos, play dough, feathers, and molasses to learn how various elements affect matter. Throw in some ice, heat, and a fizz pump and you've got some seriously fun science!

When: Saturday, October 20th
10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

Who: 2nd - 6th graders 

Cost: $25

Where: High Country Academy (719-A Greenway Road, Boone)
