2020 CPR International Mediation Competition Pre-Registration Form
We would like to thank you for your interest in the fourth edition of the CPR International Mediation Competition.  

Please use this pre-registration form for your application as a team in the competition.

Please note that the information you provide here is final, i.e., you will not have the opportunity to change it after submitting your pre-registration form. Therefore, we kindly ask you to take your time and fill in your information very carefully.

The deadline for pre-registering your team is November 15, 2019.

We will review your pre-registration material and let you know if your team is selected. If your team is selected, we will invite you to complete your registration to confirm your participation in the competition.

IMPORTANT: Pre-registered teams will undergo a selection process and the number of teams selected to participate in the competition will be limited. We expect you to commit to participate if your team is selected.

Selected teams will be requested to pay a USD $200 non-refundable registration fee to complete their registration. Teams will also be expected to cover for all their expenses to participate in the competition.  For an estimate of the anticipated costs and scholarship opportunities, please visit our FAQ on the competition web page.

LETTER OF INTEREST
In order to help the Organizing Committee to select the teams that will participate in the 2020 CPR International Mediation Competition, we ask you to send us a short (max. 1,000 words) letter of interest.  

In your letter of interest, we encourage you to address the following:
Provide information about prior experience with moot competitions in which your university/team participated and any awards received,
Thoughts on how mediation, as an ADR method, may contribute to resolve disputes in your country,
How you believe the competition might help you develop mediation in your country,
Provide specific information on how your team will secure funding to participate in the competition,
Does your academic institution support your participation in the competition?  What support will it provide?

Please send your letter of interest via email directly to mediationcompetition@cpradr.org within 48 hours after submitting your pre-registration form.

Only a limited number of teams will be selected to participate in the competition.  If your team is selected, it is important for the success of the competition that your team commits to participate. CPR may publish competition materials which may include the name, affiliation, contact data, biography and picture of the participating individuals. CPR may also use your information for all official communication around the event and events associated with the Competition, and retain the right to share it with organizations affiliated with our event. CPR will not forward your information for commercial use to any external organization. Your team members and coach may also be photographed and videotaped throughout the event for CPR's discretionary use.
