Hood River Reads has organized a farm tour in connection with the 2026 book choice On Gold Hill.

When: Saturday, March 7 at 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Where: Comfort Starr Farms, 1320 Martin Road, Hood River, OR 97031

Details: Environmental educator Stan Starr will discuss the farm’s motto in action— Sustainably grown fruits and vegetables— plant strawberries with participants, and offer tips about growing organic produce.

Weather permitting. HR Reads will contact you if the event is canceled due to inclement weather.
