Mad Dog Trout Unlimited Women's Intro to Fly Fishing Weekend Application - May 30 - June 1, 2025
Please fill out the following application for the Mad Dog Trout Unlimited Women's Intro to Fly Fishing overnight event.

The event begins 6:00 pm on Friday May 30th and ends 1:00 pm on Sunday June 1st at Quimby Country (1127 Forest Lake Rd, Averill, VT).  Overnight accommodations will be provided - you may be paired with another participant in a shared cabin. The cost for this weekend is $550 and covers everything you need to fish for the weekend. You must provide your own fishing license - we can assist with this. If this cost is prohibitive to your participation, please let us know.

We have a maximum of 10 participants. We are requesting interested participants to fill out a short survey in case there is more interest than we have capacity. Someone from our chapter will be in touch to follow-up with you as soon as possible.

Meals, boats, fishing rods, flies and other equipment will be provided.  Please plan on dressing appropriately for the weather.  Plan on contending with annoying insects, too. Activity-wise, we'll be getting in and out of boats, walking on uneven surfaces, along river banks and wading in rivers. (Waders will be available or bring your own). Mobility is obviously crucial to enjoying this event. The activities probably amount to walking 3-4 miles each day. We will begin one or both mornings with classroom instruction, followed by casting instruction and at some points, time actually on the water fishing from boats. Our volunteer instructors will work with you and one other person throughout the two days.

Thanks,

MadDog Trout Unlimited
