Two sessions of in-person Operation Main Street training will be offered at World Pork Expo on June 7 & 8, 2022. Both new and experienced speakers are invited, as there will be something for everyone!

The sessions will repeat the second day so please pick the day that works best for your schedule.  

OMS Training:
June 7 - 9:00 am - 12:30 pm - In-person training. 4-H Building at Iowa State Fairgrounds. Box lunch included.
June 8 - 9:00 am - 12:30 pm - In-person training. 4-H Building at Iowa State Fairgrounds. Box lunch included.

Additional OMS Events:
June 7 - 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm - Optional “Zoom 101” session. Does the idea of presenting virtually seem too intimidating? Have concerns about how to actually make the technology work for you? Come join us and we’ll show you the ropes!
June 7 - 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm - Social hour for OMS speakers, NPB staff, and state staff. Been awhile since you’ve caught up with the OMS program? We’d love to see you at our social!

We all know that consumers want transparency about how their food is raised. This training will grow your potential to effectively communicate about the pork industry to consumer audiences including community members, today's young adults, and high-value influencer audiences.

All registered attendees will receive an invitation to access omsresources.com, the new OMS on-demand training platform. Once you've created an account, 70 minutes of training material will be available to you!
