What is the aim of this survey?
This survey is being conducted to gather the opinions of fungus recorders with regards to the processing, verification and sharing of fungal species occurrence records.

The survey is aimed at fungus recorders of all levels, including both BMS members and non-members. This also includes individuals that submit personal records and those that only record as part of a group.

The results of this survey will help inform a a protocol for verification of records submitted to the Fungal Records Database of Britain and Ireland.
Will I be informed of the results?
As the survey is anonymous, respondents will not automatically be notified of the results. 

We will be producing a consultation report to share a summary of the the results that will be published on the Biological Recording Company website. We will not be publishing individual responses or the survey responses dataset.
