Soil Prep
What's under the grass matters. Making sure area is weed free, having good topsoil, compost, and a final rake will ensure your new lawn is set up to be healthy as can be. We can help get your area prepared prior to hydroseeding.
Will you require soil prep from Bella Terra? *
Preparation Needed
Preparation is another trip for our crew and has a minimum charge of $500. Tilling incorporates 6-8 in and is needed if rutted or very compacted. Final rake prepares a seed bed in 1-2 in. and levels out the ground. Please check out Pricing Calculator to see costs.
Hydroseeding
What type of grass do you want? *
The price quoted is if you are located within 45 miles from Woodland, WA.   We have a minimum charge of $500. Additional information about the types of grass is available on our website.
Approximately, how many sq ft of hydroseed do you need? *
1 Acre is equal to 43,560 Sq. Ft.  Most city lots are 1 to 4 times the size of house footprint. Please refer to next item in list if you would like to calculate
How to Calculate my Square Footage. 
If you don't know, please download this app.  It works on either Android or Apple Phones.  Step by step directions for this are provided below.  If the estimated square footage of the area provided to us during the scheduling process ends up being more than 15% different than the measurement of the actual area to be hydroseeded upon our arrival on-site, additional fees will apply.



  1. Download to phone
  2. Open app and tap the 3 lines top left side.  Then tap setting and switch AREA UNITS to ft2, ac, mi2.
  3. Also in settings switch  DISTANCE UNITS TO ft, mi. (Feet and Miles)
  4. Tap Bulls-Eye that is located almost at the top left of screen.
  5. Using two fingers zoom in closer to your location.
  6. Tap the Orange + located at the lower left of your screen
  7. Tap the AREA or FIELD option
  8. Tap the GPS Measuring and go to the edge of the area you want hydroseeded.
  9. Tap START MEASURING and slowly walk the perimeter of you area
  10. Click STOP MEASURING
  11. Click DONE - You can now fix and drag points if needed.  This is an estimate so perfection isn't necessary.required.
  12. Your estimated area will be at the top left of you screen.  You can take a screenshot and also send it to this email address (team@1BellaTerra.com)  I will include this picture with your hydroseeding order and it will assist our crew to identify exactly which area(s) you want us to hydroseed.
Will 150' from truck access cover all area? *
Our trucks standardly carry 150 feet of hose.  Should we be able to reach all areas needing hydroseeding with this?
Is there good truck access? *
Our trucks are full of liquid weight and can weigh as much as a concrete truck and are roughly 12 feet tall.  They are not able to travel sideways on hills/slopes.  Should this pose a problem accessing any areas for hydroseeding?

Proper watering through irrigation systems supports root development, disease resistance, and overall resilience, contributing to the long-term vitality and aesthetic appeal of lawns.
Do you have an Irrigation System? *
This is important!!! A newly hydroseeded lawn needs 3-5  short waterings (5-10 minutes each time) a day throughout the DAYTIME, not just at night. This can be adjusted with the weather. It's important to keep the seeds moist while developing a root system but also not drowning in water either if you see water pooling just dial it back a little.

We do offer discounts to Military, Police, First Responders, repeat customers, Landscape or General Contractors as well as discounts on larger jobs if there is quick access to water resupply. Just let us know!
