Our Summer Camps serve children ages 2 1/2 to 10 yrs. old*. Campers participate in activities as a group & smaller age related group activities. Each camp session is limited to 10 Preschool age children & 10 Elementary age children for a total of no more than 20 campers per day. Middle school & high school students may participate as volunteers/camp helpers.
*For the first time, this year we are offering a 4 day long camp specifically for older students, ages 10 to 14 years, we are calling "Survival Skills", July 31st through August 3rd. Guest instructors will teach and facilitate activities designed to teach kids how to be/ stay safe in the forest and may include building shelters, identification of edible and medicinal plants, fire making (if conditions allow), making cordage and a proper wilderness ready first aid kit as well as games that foster leadership, critical thinking and cooperation.
Tuition ($115 1/2 day, $190 full day) includes a Roslyn Rags Tie Dye Camp Shirt & delicious, healthy snacks. Children bring their own picnic lunches in reusable containers. Pre-applied sunscreen required and hats are highly recommended! Please bring water in insulated water bottles or include ice. We will have igloo coolers with cold water available each day to refill water bottles as needed
