The Hanna After School Program is an advanced after-school enrichment program for elementary-level children. Each day is structured to provide experiences designed to enrich your child's intellectual, social, physical, and emotional growth. Learning and enrichment opportunities are prepared with your child's grade level and interests in mind. We provide your child with a wide variety of activities in a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. Our program understands the importance of extracurricular activities. Our activities help enrich your child's after-school experience and foster confidence, independent thinking, and productive behavior. Arts and crafts, science, cooking, playtime, and movement activities serve as an extension of what they are learning in school. Classroom activities and introductions to other recreational activities are also held. Our goal is to build a solid bridge between the education provided by parents, the school, and our program to enhance intellectual, emotional, and social development.
Before school care is Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 8:30 am and after school care is 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Hanna Community Youth Program will operate the above program only on days that school is in session for students with an exception of the seasonal camps. Seasonal camps are Monday through Friday from 7:30am-5:00pm when school is not in session. Late fee charges will apply after 5:00pm for Seasonal Camps and 5:30pm for the After-School Program to every child that is not picked up on time. The late fee will be $15.00 for every 15 minutes that the parent/guardian is late unless proof of an emergency can be provided and $10.00 for every additional 5 minutes following the 15 minute increment.
There is a $25 non-refundable application fee to participate in any program. In addition, the After School Program is $50.00 per week. Seasonal Camps are $105 per week. A full-time child is defined to be between 12 to 15 hours per week for the After School Program and 40 to 45 hours for the Seasonal Camp. In order to be compliant for CCDF, parents need to swipe their government issued card two times per day per child. The hours required for CCDF for the After-School Program is 11 hours per week and for the Seasonal Camp is 40 hours per week. Failure to swipe in accordance to CCDF guidelines leaves the parents liable for the difference not paid by CCDF. The parent is then responsible to pay the balance within 30 days past the service date or result in expulsion.
