SD FFA Judging sign up
Please complete this form to sign up to serve as a judge for SD FFA competitive events. Complete all required questions and those that pertain specifically to the events you wish to assist with. NOTE: You might have received this link/form from multiple people; please only fill out this form once. We are trying to streamline the judges ask list so that each volunteer is able to sign up for all areas that they are willing/able to help with.

Thank you for your interest in helping SD FFA and the more than 6,000 FFA members across the state! Please know that we will work to ensure that each judge feels confident in the task of judging each and every area; being an expert judge or a content judge is not a prerequisite. As long as you have the desire to be fair, thorough, and evaluate with integrity, we are happy to have you join us.

All judging communication will come from one of the following individuals and any questions should be directed to them as well:

Wyatt DeJong - wyatt.dejong@sdaged.org (SD FFA Executive Secretary)
Caroline Hansen - caroline.hansen@sdaged.org (SD FFA Leadership & Program Manager)
Mercedes Snedeker - mercedes.snedeker@state.sd.us (SD FFA Advisor)

All scoring will be based on rubrics that should provide a clear picture of how to evaluate each application, interview, or presentation. All scoring will be done electronically through secure links given directly to each individual judges. When judging applications that are open during a window of time, each judge will have a live link that will stay open during that window of time and each judge will be able to access all applications within the area they judge throughout that time and can review applications even once they give initial scores.
