At the end of 2023 the Government of Barbados announced its strategy for the Transformation of Education, setting out ambitious plans to realise A Bright Future for Every Child. Between now and 2031, Barbados will reimagine and reshape its education system to meet the demands of the 21st century. At its heart is the vision of a FIRM education system, namely one that is Fair, Inclusive, Relevant and Modern, creating a more fair, relevant, inclusive and modern high-quality education system for all school learners in Barbados.
As part of this important work, the Ministry of Educational Transformation wants to hear from you, the public, on what elements you think a modern Education system should support — so that through participation in a modernised education system, all of our children can realise their potential to be the best they can be.
