The klpac Orchestra Audition June 2023
Date: 1/6/23 (Thursday)
Time: 5pm onwards (an audition slot will be assigned to you by 29 May 2023)
Venue: AD Studio (Level 3)

Instruments: 
Violin & Cello | Grade 8
Viola, Bass, Oboe, Bassoon, Horn, Trumpet, Percussion (Timpani | Conga | Xylophone | Marimba) | Grade 6

Important Notes:
  • Rehearsals will be held in one of the klpac studios on level 3, every Wednesday @ 7.30-10.30pm.
  • Audition strictly for the stated instruments and by appointment only.
  • The audition slot will be final confirmed on 29 May 2023 via email. Please prepare two contrasting pieces not longer than 8 minutes in total and a sight reading piece will be given on that day
  • Kindly reach at least 10 minutes before your audition slot to get ready with your instruments. Bring a copy of your music for the conductor's reference. No piano accompaniment is required.

The klpac Orchestra will be rehearsing on every Wednesday starting from 14 July 2023 onwards and annually there will be two concerts per year. Concerts will be held at Pentas 1, The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre. The concerts are for the members to have memorable stage experience as well as profit-raising for klpac's upkeep and organization fund.
