Workshop Overview

Strong facilitation is shaped by experience, reflection, and a willingness to continually refine how learning spaces are designed and led.

Join us for a brand new two-day workshop that will equip participants with a new layer of facilitation skills — increasing engagement and navigating the unknowns that come with training multidisciplinary groups.

Each day includes scenario-based activities, group discussions, and time to apply concepts directly to participants’ own work.

What You’ll Learn
After the workshop, participants will be better able to:
  • Build self-awareness and introspection as a facilitator
  • Design multilingual educational events
  • Incorporate safety considerations for both participants and faculty at events
  • Create a training evaluation plan
  • Practice developing supportive working relationships with co-facilitators
  • Address complex facilitation challenges
Format
The workshop combines presentations, group discussions, and hands-on practice. At the end of the workshop, participants will apply what they learn by selecting from a menu of demo scenarios to practice with a group of peers for coaching and feedback.
