Student Leadership Institute Presenter Proposal Form
The Cal Poly Student Leadership Institute will be on Friday, January 25 and Saturday, January 26, 2019! The Student Leadership Institute (SLI) is an open opportunity for all Cal Poly students to engage in leadership development opportunities and learn from and with their peers. The Cross Cultural Centers, Fraternity & Sorority Life, University Housing, New Student & Transition Programs, and the Center for Leadership are collaborating together to host the second annual Student Leadership Institute and we hope you will also be a part of providing this opportunity for our students.

We are accepting proposals for folks interested in presenting on Friday, January 25. Sessions are one hour long and open to any Cal Poly students. There are 3 different 50 minute break out session blocks (starting at 11:10 a.m., 1:10 p.m., and 2:10 p.m.). Please fill out this form if you are interested in presenting. If you have any questions about the event or this form, please email

We would like proposals to be focused on leadership. Please be broad and expansive in how you think about topics related to leadership. We ask that all proposals work to include acknowledgement/discussion of how one's identities and lived experiences impact the ways they engage with, perceive, and process the leadership concepts you are exploring (both for you as a facilitator and for the folks engaging with your session in the room). This can be overtly in your title and the central focus of your presentation or it can be a sub-component of another topic.
