EVENT DESCRIPTION

BEACH CLEANUP
R20W will be joined by Value Culture, Sea Hugger, Refuse Refuse SF, Liquid Death, and City Surf Project to pick up litter and divert recyclables for a clean beach for all!

All beach cleanup waste will be collected and sorted at the R20W Zero Waste Station so that we can divert as much waste from landfill as possible! Please be careful, do NOT pick up dangerous or hazardous items like needles or broken glass. These must be handled separately for the safety of those who are sorting! And lastly, we would love for you to use the Clean Swell app to track litter during the cleanup!

ALTERNATE LOCATION
Race to Zero Waste and Surfrider Foundation SF support each other in keeping our beaches clean! If you can’t come out to Ocean Beach with R20W, Surfrider will be at Baker Beach for a simultaneous cleanup! https://volunteer.surfrider.org/timeslots/Ear3Aw7nEb

DONATION DRIVE
Donated items will benefit community organization Project Homeless Connect. They are currently accepting donations of functioning gently used phone chargers and new travel hygiene supplies. We encourage reuse and regifting! If you have a shower gel or gift set that you haven't opened, you can regift it! Bring what you can and help out our neighbors!

AFTER PARTY!
R20W will sponsor non-alcoholic drinks and some sandwiches from 12-2pm at Ocean Beach Cafe!
